Verne R. Albright
Verne Albright grew up in the American West. At age nineteen, he took his first of sixty-five trips to Peru. These were sometimes for business but more often for the pure pleasure of being there.
“Finding a true calling is a miracle many people never experience,” he says, “and Peru provided me with two. The first was Peruvian Paso horses, which I have loved and promoted throughout the world since 1962. The second was Peru’s rich, fascinating history and culture, which provided material to feed a more recent passion, writing historical fiction set in that nation’s rich and fascinating past.”
Albright makes his home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with his wife and five dogs.
