Shaun Darragh
Shaun Darragh was born in Olean, New York. After graduating from Lowell High School in Massachusetts, he enlisted in the Army and served as an Air Defense missile crewman during the Cuban Missile Crisis. In 1965 he reenlisted for Special Forces, was commissioned an Armor officer in 1967, served with the 5th Special Forces Group in Vietnam, and the 1st Armored and 1st Cavalry Divisions at Fort Hood, Texas. In 1972 he returned to civilian life, attained his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Puerto Rican universities, practiced law in Massachusetts, and returned to the Army as a Special Forces officer. After service which included Europe and Central and South America, he retired to take employment as a DIA Intelligence Specialist, first at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, then Mexico City, Mexico; Panama City, Panama; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Seoul, Korea. He speaks French, Spanish, and (some) Vietnamese, and has qualified in Portuguese and Dutch/Afrikaans.
