Sam Higgins served in the Army Air Force and Infantry. After being held prisoner in Germany, Higgins returned to the U.S. and graduated from the University of Alabama with an MBA, an M.Ed. and a Ph.D. in Education. With extensive experience in conducting motivational workshops, teaching and producing promotional materials for the textile industry, Sam has always had a love for writing and educating others. He passed away in 2007 and is survived by his wife Bernice.
