Claus Sellier was born in Germany and joined the German Army in 1942, where he served in the 79th Mountain Artillery Regiment. Since then, he has managed first class restaurants and clubs throughout the United States and Europe. He was Vice President and General Manager of Devre`s renowned Carnelian Room Restaurant in San Francisco. Sellier currently lives in Escondido, California.
