Byron Lane was raised in Chicago. He earned an MBA in management and a Ph.D. in organizational psychology and had multiple careers that include entrepreneur, CEO of a national company, professor of management, and writer. He is co-author with his wife, Ida Fisher-Lane, of The Widow's Guide to Life.His current book, Managing People, is a selection of The Executive Program Book Club. He lives in Long Beach, California.
